Abstract
[Excerpt] This report provides an overview of fatal and nonfatal violence in the workplace. It discusses differences in workplace violence among various occupations. It includes trend information and discusses victim demographics and crime characteristics such as victim injury and police notification. It also includes comparisons to violence outside of the workplace against employed persons and violence against persons not employed.
